Nail Surgery Clinic
Nail surgery is the permanent surgical solution to recurring ingrown toenails. This minor surgical procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic. You can be back to work the following day and back playing sports within 3 weeks normally. This treatment is carried out to the highest clinical standards and we have helped thousands of people resolve their toe nail pain over the years. Three followup dressing appointments are included to review the healing and reduce the possibility of infection, we use the laser machine to encourage faster healing times than previously sought at each redress appointment..
Verrucae & Wart Clinic
We have a varied range of treatments available for verrucae treatment, depending on your requirements, medical status and the duration of the verrucae. Our verrucae specialist podiatrist can discuss the options open to you and help you decide which route of treatment to opt for. This can range from assistance with pharmacy products, cryo-therapy and verrucae needling.
CuraCorn - Dermal Filler Clinic
This highly skilled and specialised treatment is carried out by Gerardette, who is presently the only podiatrist in Northern Ireland who performs this procedure. She qualified from this extended study practice in 2018 and has transformed the lives of many of her patients with extremely painful corns.
The hyaluronic acid dermal filler is injected under local anaesthetic for a pain free procedure and the resulting persistent corns have lasting results of up to 18months before a top up is required.
Musculoskeletal Clinic
This appointment examines the lower limb, assessing ranges of motion, highlighting pain or injuries and abnormalities during gait in everyday activities. This assessment can result in prescribed orthoses, patient education and may include stretching exercises to improve function and mobility and limit further reoccurrence of injuries.
Lunula Laser - Fungal Nail Clinic
We have added to our specialised treatment portfolio with the addition of Lunula Laser for the treatment of unsightly fungal and damaged nails. A course of treatment sessions are required for this treatment, which tends to span over 6-9 months. This enables the treated nail to grow from nail bed to nail tip. Since introducing this treatment modality in March 2021 we have helped many of our patients to reduce or eradicate embarrassing fungal nails. The results have varied on how severely they have been infected and how damaged the nail bed has been.
Cosmetic Foot Care
We are able to offer a range of additional foot care treatments to compliment the cosmetic look of your feet. Our clinical assistants are expertly trained in adhering to medical hygiene levels and use individual, sterilised instruments for all treatments, ensuring no transmission of infections, from patient to patient.
